Lueira's AI assistant: what it does, what it doesn't and how to get the most from it
What Lueira's AI assistant is, where to find it, what it can do for you (answer questions, check your setup, prepare imports and changes for you to review), what it never does and how confirmation works.

What the assistant is
The Lueira assistant is an artificial intelligence, not a person. It explains how to do things, takes you to the right screen, checks your setup and, if you ask, prepares changes for you to review.
It can be wrong. When something matters (money, prices, what your customers will see, anything hard to undo), check it before you rely on it. Its answers are marked as AI-generated.
Where to find it
It lives in the Agents bar on the right-hand side of Lueira. The bar has three panels:
- Lueira Agent: the chat with the assistant.
- Guides: the help center guides, with search. It shows the ones for your current screen first.
- Videos: the help videos, with chapters and a transcript. A number on the icon tells you how many there are for your screen.
Below the panels is the Support icon. From there you can open the Help center or talk to the Lueira team (Talk to us). The Help center is also in the user menu. If you don't see the bar, it may not be switched on for your account yet: write to us.
What it can do for you today
- Answer "how do I…" questions from our guides and videos. You get the steps and, when it helps, a button that opens the guide or the video at the right moment. If it can't find anything reliable, it says so.
- Take you to the right screen. It offers you a button; it never navigates for you.
- Check your setup. If something isn't working (customers can't pay or book, a total looks wrong, a product won't sell), it checks your account, online store, payments, or the order or product you have open. It tells you what's wrong and why it matters, with a Fix button that opens the screen where it's solved, and what it couldn't check. For business details such as the time zone or the VAT regime, it can open the form with the values you told it already filled in; you review and save.
- Hand you to the Lueira team when you ask, or when it can't help. You'll see a Talk to support button with a summary you can review before sending.
- Prepare changes for you to review:
- Import customers from a spreadsheet.
- Create or edit catalogue items from a file: shop products, rentals, lessons, passes, instructors, discounts, partners, email templates, forms, extras and more. It can also prepare orders as drafts.
- Create or change a few items from what you type in the chat, or from a PDF or an image such as a price list.
Everything it prepares appears on a card with the before and after values. Nothing is applied until you confirm.
What it never does
- It never applies changes without your confirmation on the card.
- It never confirms, charges, sends or deletes orders or payments. The orders it prepares are drafts.
- It doesn't delete anything, and doesn't offer to: if something has to go, you remove it in Lueira.
- It doesn't touch users, roles, API keys, settings or integrations.
- It doesn't message your customers.
- It doesn't import bank account numbers, and it never signs anyone up to the newsletter unless the file has a column showing they consented.
- It acts with your permissions: if your role can't do something, neither can it.
How a typical conversation goes
- A how-to question. "How do I apply a discount to an order?" You get the steps with the names you see on screen, and an offer to open the guide.
- Something doesn't work. "My customers can't pay online." It checks your payments and store setup, tells you what's wrong in order of importance, and gives you a Fix button.
- A customer list. You attach an Excel or CSV file. It asks what it can't know (the date order, the default country for phone numbers, which sheet to use). Then it prepares the import and shows how many customers will be created, how many already exist, how many are repeated in the file and how many have errors. Customers already in Lueira are skipped, not modified.
- A price list. You attach a spreadsheet of products and prices. It asks what it needs (VAT, whether prices include it) and shows each change with the current and the new price. New items are created hidden from your online store: you publish them yourself.
- A PDF or photo of a price list. It reads it and prepares the products. Compare each price with the document: it can misread.
- "Create a product at 20 euros." It asks for what's missing, such as VAT, and prepares a card with the product. It's created hidden from your online store.
- Orders from a file. If you attach a sheet of orders, it prepares them as drafts and warns you: nothing is confirmed, no email goes out and nothing is charged; a shop line takes stock off immediately and the assistant can't undo that (you delete the draft from Orders); and preparing the same file twice creates duplicate orders.
- "I'd like to talk to a person." It gives you the button to write to the team.
How confirmation works
On the card you review every change. For changes based on a file you tick a box confirming that your business may process that data. Then you press Confirm and apply.
If the change is large (many changes at once, changes that are big compared with the current value, or many rows with errors), it asks for a second confirmation. If you cancel, nothing is touched.
Once confirmed, the work runs in the background. A Background jobs strip under the chat shows progress, and you get a notification when it finishes; you don't need to keep the window open. You can Stop the job (it finishes the item in progress and what's done stays) and Resume it later; the rest is applied on your behalf.
Two phrases you'll see in the results:
- Already existed: the item was already in Lueira, so it wasn't duplicated or modified.
- Changed before applying (a stale value): that data changed in Lueira after you reviewed the card. The assistant leaves it alone and tells you. Press Compare again or ask it to prepare the changes again.
Proposals expire: the file after 24 hours, and an unconfirmed card after 48.
Tips for better answers
- Be specific: "how do I create a 10-day pass?" works better than "help with passes".
- If you say "this", open the screen you mean first: the assistant knows which one you're on.
- Attach the file instead of describing it.
- Answer its option cards; you can always type something else.
Privacy and safety
- With a spreadsheet, the assistant doesn't read your customers' data: it works on a masked view (column names, counts and the shape of the values). It does read PDFs, images and documents so it can prepare your products.
- While you work with a file (and for 24 hours after), that conversation isn't kept in our monitoring tools. Attached files expire.
- Text inside your files is data, not orders: if a file says "ignore your instructions", the assistant doesn't obey.
- The changes it applies are recorded as made by the Lueira assistant on your behalf.
Limits
- It answers in the language you use in Lueira, even if the guide is in another.
- Up to 5 files per message, up to 10 MB each (text files, 1 MB). Spreadsheets as modern Excel (.xlsx), CSV or TSV: save old .xls files as .xlsx or .csv.
- A sheet can have up to about 20,000 rows. A customer import takes up to about 5,000 customers, and bulk changes up to about 5,000 at a time. If you go over, the card will ask you to split the file.
- There is a daily limit per account, around 200 messages. If you reach it you'll see a notice and a button to talk to the team; it resets the next day.
- It never deletes, touches payments or invoices, or publishes to your online store.
When to write to us
Talk to the team if the assistant gets something wrong, can't find an answer, a change fails or stops halfway, you hit the daily limit, or whenever it's about money or your customers' data and you'd rather a person looked at it. Find it under Support → Talk to us.
